FoodChange lays the foundation for long-term financial empowerment and stability through financial literacy education, skill-building, help in asset creation and access to resources.

Help people access the resources that they are entitled to receive
FoodChange helps low-income New Yorkers access the resources they are eligible for and entitled to, such as Food Stamps and the Earned Income Tax Credit.

Put people in direct contact with financial resources
FoodChange connects low-income New Yorkers with resources that will help them establish financial self-sufficiency such as financial education programs, bank and credit union accounts, and Individual Development Accounts, a savings program that encourages people to save for college by matching the amount they put away in the bank.

Build a foundation for long-term financial empowerment
FoodChange creates the foundation for long-term financial empowerment through financial literacy education, skill-building and help in asset creation. Through our programs we help to create a culture of savings, long-term planning and self-empowerment.
