The New York City Nutrition Education Network (NYCNEN) seeks to improve the food and nutrition environment for a healthier New York City. NYCNEN, founded in 1998, is a membership-driven collaborative comprised of organizations and individuals dedicated to food and nutrition issues. Members may be tax-supported, voluntary, for-profit or non-profit and include health centers, emergency food providers, agricultural organizations, advocacy groups, academic programs, government agencies, nutrition education programs and private consultants.
